Ah, it does sound odd but do think Akai is referring to Gin there (not as his ACTUAL lover of course, I know that's Akemi). Cuz he sounds so like angry when saying it, "I'm going to make her regret ever leaving me" and he's never shown such contempt for Akemi, so this leads me to believe he's using that as a metaphor to refer to someone else, that he hates. And breaking up could be referring to him getting found out as FBI and having to leave the BO, and wanting to find Gin again and get revenge/kill him or something. The only one I can really think of that Akai hates in the BO is Gin/ I think they were rivals or something too. Plus, he refers to Gin as his lover in a later episode too (much more clearly than this instance)

And yeah omg all the black org stuff gets real complicated sometimes, especially in the Vermouth arc here

the new opening is so good! it has a christmas feel to it and winter vibes! i never imagined dc would use this kind of songs tho! it's so different from past themes and i love it.

takagi is so annoying at times.... like conan does the most for him, conan goes out of his way to save him many times, that one time to not let shiratori marry sato and just recently encouraging him on the phone... and takagi doesn't trust conan's claims..... sato is smarter and actually trusts conan. love her for that. take an L today takagi!
